Now this is what a GSR powered 4g Civ should look like. Its hard to even tell that the wiring harness was completely unwrapped and rewired to make it OBD1.

After thoroughly cleaning the eng bay before installing the new motor. It looks better than when it was New. That's what TrickEngineering is all about top quality, clean swaps.

The motor consists of a 98 GSR, OBD1 GSR ecu and JDM 1g cable B16 tranny. This swap required cutting off the OBD0 ecu plugs and wiring OBD1 plugs in there place. Under the hood, there was also a lot of wiring needed to adapt the Si eng harness to the OBD2 style motor. We retained the 98 Distributor and 98 injectors!!!! obd1 dist and injectors are NOT needed if you know what your doing.

Do to the amount of wiring for this hybrid to operate properly, the labor runs $1395. Turn around is 2weeks MAX if all parts are on hand or locally available.

Here is a pic of the eng bay before removing the old motor. Its amazing what a little extra effort, like washing the eng bay after removing the old motor will do.
